BIRTHS, DEATHS & MARRIAGES
Brendan hides from Kathleen, as he makes his way to the church, for a marriage preparation class. He and Siobhan have decided to keep their wedding a secret.
Emma discovers some old postcards at the back of her cupboard, belonging to her great-grandfather, Michael Dillon; she is now on a mission to find out more about her family history.
Niamh decides that Ambrose is not going out enough and persuades him to go out that night. Ambrose phones up some old friends but they're all busy: he eventually asks Fr Aidan.
Later Siobhan confides in Niamh about the wedding. She admits that they are only getting married for Aisling's security. Niamh manages to persuade her to go shopping for a dress nevertheless and arranges a surprise reception party at Fitzgerald's, which doesn't go according to plan.
In the meantime Eamonn is up in the fields. He finds a sheep, which is trapped in some barbed wire. He tries to help the sheep and falls down a steep hill. Danny gets worried and enlists Sean Dillon's help to try to find him. After a search, he is found, Sean then offers to help Danny look after the farm while Eamonn recovers.
Meanwhile Ambrose and Fr Aidan have a night out bowling and meet up with some girls. Fr Aidan hastens to tell them that he is a priest but is happy to talk to them. Ambrose admits to Aidan that he and Niamh are having problems.
Desperate, Emma agrees to help Quigley set up his computer, in return for information. He reveals that her great-grandfather was married to Eamonn's aunt, Nora Byme - they married after the birth of their child and Nora was disowned by her family. Sean's father grew up being treated badly by the Bymes because he was illegitimate.
