Warren is perfectly open about being gay with everyone -
except his family. When he's late for work one morning (because
he had scored the night before), his cousin Kira wants to
know who, what and why. She's not the kind of girl to take
"It's none of your business" for an answer. That kind of
thing is an invitation to Kira. When she turns up unannounced
at the house as Warren is having dinner with a gay friend,
it seems inevitable that she's going to discover his secret
but somehow Warren still keeps it quiet.
Back in the house, Egg claims
that watching football videos all day is valid research
for his writing project. Milly is unconvinced and asks him
to apply for a job at the Sports Council. It's obvious that
he's going to disappoint her but he agrees to make the effort.
Anna is concerned about Milly and Egg's relationship (they're
still not having sex) so she plans a romantic dinner for
two. It doesn't have an aphrodisiac effect.
The fraud case is starting
to really worry Miles and he's desperate for an excuse to
quit. He already suspects that his father knows more about
the intricacies of this affair than he's letting on so perhaps
Miles can declare a conflict of interest? First he has to
ask Montgomery for insider information - and the old man
refuses to play the game. Suddenly it's easy to see where
Miles gets his devious nature.
Finally, Kira follows Warren
and catches him having sex up against a wall. She mistakenly
believes her cousin is being attacked and fights off the
other man. Warren is furious - and now he has to confess.
Surprise, surprise - Kira knew all along. She completely
accepts his sexuality but it looks as if she's not a typical
member of the family. Warren gets another surprise when
his brother Dale turns up unexpectedly. He's a professional
soldier and doesn't seem the understanding type. Warren's
troubles are just beginning.
