Like father, like son?
Not really ... Dad Jerry is sending the manuscript of his
completed novel to literary agents while son Egg seems to
have given up on his dream of becoming an author and is
applying for a job delivering phone books. Nothing is going
right for Egg - he even fails when he tries to revive his
sex life by buying some erotic fiction for Milly.
However, even if things aren't
happening in the bedroom with her boyfriend, Milly might
just have the chance of sex elsewhere. She has to go for
dinner again with O'Donnell and a client and she plans to
make the most of the occasion. O'Donnell goes up in her
estimation even further when he goes after a rollerblader
who knocks into Milly and is gets thumped for his efforts.
The skater even threatens to take him to court! An impressed
Milly tells Anna about being swept off her feet and Anna
suggests that her interest might be more than professional.
Back in chambers. Anna gets a different kind of surprise
from a flasher.
After the business dinner
is over, Milly and O'Donnell really get down to business
- at least, they almost do. She seems willing to make use
of the hotel bedroom but he backs out at the last minute
leaving a very confused Milly. She's unhappy with her relationships;
Egg is unhappy with his life; Warren is unhappy because
of Ferdy; and Miles is unhappily disturbed by a suspicion
that there might be something going on between Anna and
Jerry. There is. They're shagging.
