Lia’s
not enjoying work and pressure from Jamie, Clare and the patients
is mounting up.
An attempt to reconcile a dying patient with his estranged daughter goes disastrously
wrong and she hands in her notice. However, the prospect of her quitting her
job and leaving Leeds upsets Emma so much that Lia realises she has to stop running
away.
When a patient with a Jesus complex keeps calling Beth ‘Mary’, she
quite likes the idea until she realises he thinks she’s not the Virgin
Mary but the fallen Mary Magdelene.
Kate is convinced she’s being harassed by Clare, which the girls fail to
take seriously, whilst Anji throws herself into a health binge to help her take
her mind off Callum.
