SERIES 2
Assumpta begins to warm to Peter when he gets cast as her love interest in the village play, but there's a rival for her affections. Enda Sullivan is a small-time musician who Niamh thinks would be a great boyfriend for Assumpta. Unfortunately she has other ideas.
Niamh has pressing concerns of her own as she and Ambrose attempt to start a family. It causes both amusement and sorrow, but her friends in BallyK are there when she needs them.
Kathleen finds out what a difference community spirit can make when a fire starts in her house. She is not insured and the residents of the village have to go to extreme lengths to pay for the renovations.
