WILLIAM GAMINARA
Smooth is definitely a word that you could use to describe
William Gaminara, which is why the actor / writer is perfect
for the role of the Will.
"He comes from a slightly different generation from the people
in the company, so he's quite sort of controlled," says William
about his character, "he's dealing with these idealistic young
people who are very much hanging onto their ideals."
In real life, William would know all about youth, passion
and ethics having written a few episodes for the second series
of This Life and The Lakes. He enjoys the duality of writing
and acting.
"Yes. I write side by side with this really. They kind of
dovetail quite well, so I've always got projects on the go."
William's television work has included roles in The Law, Hope
and Glory, The Bill, Casualty, The House of Eliott, Soldier,
Soldier and Dangerfield.
He is currently putting the finishing touches to a couple
of plays and playing down the Bond rumour that started on
the attachments set, when it came up in conversation that
he'd auditioned for the legendary role.
" I even had a phone call from someone who was working on
a completely different shoot, and we had a 10 minute conversation
and then he said, is it true that you're in for Bond?"
We told you, smooth.
