WILL - Sharp Suit
Born in Derbyshire. Will's got two other brothers. They were
all educated in an unexceptional boarding school where more
people said barth than bath. No great academic but bloody
good at sport, he had a great time at school. His dad put
the blocks on a plan to pursue sport professionally. Will
reluctantly complied, reading business studies at Warwick
University.
His success in business is partly to do with his appearance.
It inspires confidence. He looks vigorous and wholesome and,
in these fluid times, masculine in an almost old fashioned
way. People trust him. He's not stupid and he's learnt to
use this to his advantage. He's a good, effective businessman.
Will's not as square as the office imagines. Who'd have predicted
that Will would know the name of every Clash album? It surprises
even him. He's older than the others, but he's a lot more
forceful than any of them think when he first walks in.
In essence, Will is a sticker. This cuts both ways. It means
while he sticks to his brief from Proctors, once he feels
an attachment to the site, he also sticks to Mike and Luce.
