AMANDA RYAN

Amanda Ryan has been acting for just over five years and her career is doing just nicely thank you.

"I actually said at the age of sixteen, I'm going to be an actor. I said that out loud." Amanda explains. "And I left school at 17 and decided that I was going to then follow this and become an actor. So I joined a youth theatre and I spent my life there, really."

A few part-time jobs and three years at RADA later, Amanda began to attain roles in The Bill, Inspector Morse, Metroland, Elizabeth to name but a few.

"There are very few jobs where you get to, I think, grow as a person and in your craft." Amanda says. "I've been to strange and wonderful placesÉand, you know, you meet great people and it can be really satisfying as well, to use so much of yourself in your job. "
