POPPY MILLER

The acting bug bit Poppy Miller quite early on life. She used to love watching her Dad's amateur dramatics company at work in her hometown of Norwich.

"I used to go to am dram all the time, and I used to believe every word of it."

After leaving school she went to Cambridge University to read Philosophy and English and then attended the Webber Douglas drama school. This was followed by lots and lots of theatre and glimpses of TV until she landed the role of Fran.

"She's 30, which is quite important, just because it's a bit of a watershed in her life." Poppy explains, " She's in a kind of, oh my God, what happened to my life? Where am I now? And I'm 30. So she's a bit lost and she's quite needy, and she wants to be loved and I think that's just the way she is. She's quite funny, I think. She knows how to put a smile on even if she doesn't feel like it."

That's not anything that Poppy needs to do as she has had a brilliant time filming Attachments "I think it's quite special." She states softly.

In the future Poppy would like to perform in some new plays as she is well versed in most of the classics.

" I'd like to do some modern stuff in relatively small spaces. I think that's interesting."

Poppy recently appeared in the BBC crime drama 'In Deep'.
