I was going to order the teapot. My only concern is that when you pour, it won't leak out the windows,right?Ha-ha![/B][/QUOTE]

(This was a quote a while back by Terry -- just to quote because this didn't for some reason...)
Well, if the tea-pot resembled Fitzgerald's, this could be the episode when the roof leaked and Assumpta threw water all over Father Clifford. !!! only the water would come out of the windows and not necessarily the door. LOL!
(I'm glad this thread is back. I used to watch it before I summoned the courage to join in.)

This may have been noted before but I was watching a movie called "Bobbie's Girl" and there was Donal doing duty as a X-Ray technician. Wasn't able to see all the movie but plan to view it completly ASAP.

James Nesbitt is working on a program called "Jekyll," that is written by Steven Moffat. (Moffat wrote "Coupling" and is one of the writers for the new "Dr Who" series.)

Here's the IMDB link:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0497298/maindetails

And if you want to do the "Six Degrees" thing, it also stars Meera Syal, who did an episode of "Big Town All-Stars" with Stephen Tompkinson. (She was hilarious as a sex-crazed record executive who had a "thing" for ST's character.)

Trixie (Eamonn's dog) is also in that trainer's kennel. His real name is Jack:

Hi!
I'm here in the background, but I read the forum nearly every day.

My husband ordered a movie for Christmas to me, with S.Tompkinson in it, and it's arrived already! There is a closed Amazon box in his table, and I must wait till Christmas to find out what movie it is!!! Cruel isn't he?

I don't know if they ever said Fionn was a male, but I think Fionn is a male name, unless it;s short for Fionnola.

I always thought that "Fionn" was the way it's spelled, but the novelized version of the second season spells the name "Finn."

You're correct. Fionn (or Finn) is the male name and Fionnoula the female name.

Wow, I admire you Thistle. I used to think I was a statue of patience until I had kids. I could make a joke about statues and pigeons, but I'll leave it. Anyway, I'm excited for you! I await my recent purchase from Amazon, "And A Nightingale Sang" w/ST.

Anyone notice in the description of Jack, the border collie that it has Eammon's name wrong???

Jack – our black and white border collie – best known for his role as Birdie O’Hanlon’s sheepdog Trixie in Ballykissangel. Jack is a big, handsome chap who loves to learn and to work. Together with Spice he started his career as a young puppy on Live at Three. He has done lots of movies, adverts and photo shoots.

Aw, Chuck, you're killin' me. And speaking of praising him, have you seen the clip from Ted and Alice of him dancing to that song by Fatboy Slim, "Praise You"? Precious.

Please Chuck easy with the puns, I am not native! But:
I found the origin of the "laude" and it is from the "lute". here So I have to learn to type with my nose, because one of my hand is a fan and in the other I have a lute... Am I a Muse?

sounds like she and stephen T. both continue to have steady work.

i'd not heard of that movie, but through the magic of google, i found this:

DANGEROUS PARKING
Synopsis:
An adaptation of Stuart Browne’s 1999 cult novel Dangerous Parking, about a filmmaker and former alcoholic who is diagnosed with cancer. Writer/director Peter Howitt, who also stars, says:
“Dangerous Parking is a rebel yell from deep within the soul of a man, told in extreme Technicolor, and at breakneck, breath-taking speed, just like his highly cinematic life. It is in turns tragic, brutal, sad, hopeful, hopeless, romantic and painfully funny.” Originally a television and stage actor, Howitt has made cameo appearances in all four of the films he has directed (Sliding Doors, Antitrust, Johnny English and Laws of Attraction). This is his first starring role since becoming a director.

Director: Peter Howitt
Producer: Richard Johns, Flaming Pie Films
Screenwriter: Peter Howitt
Cast: Peter Howitt, Saffrom Burrows, Sean Pertwee, Rachael Stirling, Alice Evans, Tom Conti, Dervla Kirwan
Sales agent: Velvet Octopus
Enquiries: Simon Crowe, Velvet Octopus
Status: shooting from 3 October 2006
Record last updated: Oct 5, 2006
